Hotel With Rat Pack Past Gets New Glamor And Tech For Today’s Guests.
Sportmen’s Lodge Hotel is undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation. This episode of California Living takes you inside the landmark property for a sneak peek at what’s to come. Join EncinoMom’s Lisa Keating at the Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City, California where Amiee Winkler (Partners in Design), Larry Broughton (BroughtonHOTELS) and Richard Weintraub (Weintraub Rea Estate Group) share their visions for the future of the property and their versions of past, shedding light on their common goal. I know you can’t wait to see what’s coming! This is part one with a peak at what’s in the works.
Check back next year for part two when we reveal the results of all the hard work! The Sportsmen’s Lodge Hotel Renovation promises to refresh and reinvigorate the property which had grown admittedly tired after decades of sheltering Hollywood Legends like Clark Gable, Bette Davis, John Wayne, Lauren Bacall, Humphrey Bogart, Doris Day, Katherine Hepburn, Spencer Tracy, musicians like The Beach Boys, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Billy Idol, Taj Mahal, Willie Nelson, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Jacksons (from Encino), and countless productions from Up All Night, The Office, Desperate Housewives to The Metalist and more. Tired, yet? I could on. The River Rock Lounge and Sportmen’s Lodge Events Center are already delivering the new vibe to diners and revelers at the corner of Coldwater and Ventura. With the renovation of the hotel rooms, lobby and pool area scheduled to be completed by the Fall of 2013, you’ll be sure to feel the property shake off the Sandman to rise and shine for a new generation of memories in the making. I’m looking forward to the big reveal and can’t wait to share it with you here! Save me a spot by the pool!
