How To Build A Gingerbread House
Start your own holiday family tradition with this easy to build gingerbread house kit from Germany. These abundantly available kits include everything except an egg white and a few drops of white vinegar. Of course, you could make the whole thing from scratch, but that’s another video! This is so much fun to do as a family project and a real treat around here, since cooking with candy is extremely rare.
These kits start showing up in stores before Thanksgiving and can be a lot of fun to kick off holiday decorating and involve a variety of generations in an activity besides watching the parade. I bet you could even do it with the parade or the game on in the background. I suggest having grandma take the kids to pick out the extra candies for the trim. You’ll be really surprised by what they bring back from the store after an hour or so with your kids!
Thank you so much for watching. Wishing you hours of simple pleasures this holiday season and throughout the coming year. 🙂
