Looking for Kilim pillow covers from Uzbekistan, hard covered books carved into large letters, converted into lamps or old keys transformed to jewelry? Look no further! Each Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm, the popular flea market; Melrose Trading Post will set up shop in the shaded parking lot at Taft Charter High School. I love this event because everyone wins! Proceeds go to support programs at the school (there’s a $2 entrance fee), the community is served with some truly unique shopping opportunities, plus food trucks and live entertainment encourage folks to mix and mingle in a light and convivial mood. There are some really cool vendors here. We hope to see you there.
Textiles from Diodba include pillow covers from Uzbekistan.
