Even kids can afford to buy them and they raise funds for the 5th Grade Graduation at Encino Elementary and provide funding for teachers and supplies for children in Kenya. Oh yes . . . AND they’re made from renewable Zulu Grass by Maasai women (Fair Trade) to support their families in Africa!

Many thanks to Francesca Sommerfeld for bringing this amazing product to our attention. Your Mom’ll love each individual, hand-made, multi-hued, strand. All strands measure approximately 26″ to slip overhead to wear as a necklace. Individual strands look great alone or worn in multiples. May also be worn on wrist or ankle. Twist the strand over your hand – like a rubber band (fits about 3 times around the wrist). The gorgeous multi-colored strands are beautiful and look fantastic together.  Let Francesca choose a color for you. If you really, really want a special color, we’ll do our best to accommodate you. Kids love them and they look good on men, too!


Francesca says she’s been wearing hers for over a year without damage.  For each strand you purchase $5 goes back to Africa, $5 goes to Encino Elementary and the $1.50 shipping goes to PayPal and USPS. (Hopefully, I’ll have the tax ID for the school, so I won’t have to pay the sales tax on all your orders – I know you’ll buy tons!)
